What data we collect and why
When you browse: server log data (IP, browser type, access time) for technical operation. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.
When you order: name, address, email, payment details. Payment processed by Shopify Payments. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Newsletter: email address, double opt-in, unsubscribe at any time. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Google Analytics: website usage statistics, IP anonymisation enabled. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Meta Pixel: advertising effectiveness measurement. Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent).
Health & Fitness Data (MomPower Habit App)
Our mobile app can connect to Apple Health (HealthKit) on iOS and Health Connect on Android to automatically track your habit progress. With your explicit permission, we may read: step count, exercise minutes, sleep analysis, walking & running distance, active energy burned (calories), and heart rate.
How we use this data: Health data is used solely to update your personal habit progress within the app. We read daily aggregated totals only — not individual samples or raw sensor data. Aggregated daily values are synced to our secure server to keep your habits up to date across sessions. Health data is never sold to third parties, data brokers, or advertisers, and is not used for advertising, marketing, or profiling.
Your control: Health data access requires your explicit opt-in when creating a health-linked habit. You can disable syncing per habit at any time in the habit detail screen. You can revoke all access in your device Settings → Health → MomPower (iOS) or Settings → Health Connect (Android). The app functions fully without health access.
Data retention: Health-synced habit logs are stored as long as your account exists. You may request deletion at any time by contacting us.
Legal basis: Article 6(1)(a) GDPR (explicit consent) and Article 9(2)(a) GDPR (explicit consent for special category health data).
User Account & Profile Data
When you create a MomPower account, we collect your email address, name, and optional profile information including pregnancy status, age range, child's age range, health goals, activity level, and dietary preferences. This data is used to personalize your experience and suggest relevant habits. Profile data is stored on EU servers and is never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
Habit Tracking Data
The app stores your habit definitions, completion logs, challenge progress, and achievement records. This data syncs across your devices when signed in. Habit data is stored on EU-based servers and used solely to provide the tracking service.
Push Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications for dose reminders and habit check-ins. We store your device push token on our servers. You can disable notifications at any time in the app settings or device settings.
Analytics
We use Vexo Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. Vexo collects anonymous usage data such as screen views and feature interactions. No health data is shared with analytics providers.
Social Sharing
When you share achievement cards to social media, the image is created locally on your device. We do not transmit your achievement data to social platforms — only the image you choose to share leaves your device.
Account Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Data Export
Under GDPR Article 20, you can export all your data as a JSON file via Settings > Export My Data in the app, or by contacting us.

Vexo Analytics (usage analytics), Apple Health / Google Health Connect (health data, device-only), Shopify (e-commerce), Expo Push Notifications (push delivery).
